Every woman is a universe, a unique vessel full of beauty and grace and strength, and each has an incredible story to tell. Through my Editorial Intimates, I try to draw out this uniqueness and touch upon the wonder of each person I photograph.
There’s a great deal of respect that goes into the process as well. From initial booking until print delivery, each experience is about my clients, and what I can do to help them have the best experience possible. In order to tell their stories properly, I spend time getting to know them, building mood and storyboards and determining what they hope the process to be like. It’s so much more than book, snap, and go, it’s about creating lasting visual stories, stories they can be proud of for the rest of their lives.
The Philosophy of Intimately Yours
One of the unifying themes of my Editorial Intimates is the celebration of the beauty and strength of women. Through my photographs, I aim to empower women to see themselves as beautiful, inside and out. I want them to value what’s already inside of them, as opposed to trying to fit into a one-size fit all label that the media tends to generate, a label that doesn’t exactly fit anybody.
The philosophy of Editorial Intimates is the Boudoir State of Mind, the idea that each individual has something that’s often hidden, but so incredibly unique and valuable, that it should be shared.   It’s about life like it were a shout instead of a whisper, a celebration instead of a grind.
Because believe me, every woman is worthy of celebrating, and every woman has her own unique story to tell.
